Commitment Ceremonies
Our friends and community are sometimes our family of choice, and very important to us on a day to day basis. Celebrating our “Big Moments” within family and community is a wonderful way of remembering to validate our relationships and our lives. It is a pleasure and an honour to be able to contribute as a gay celebrant.
My commitment ceremonies are geared specifically to meet your needs, rather than a generic ceremony adapted from the general population. At our first (complementary) consultation I will bring along a Commitment Ceremony Planning Kit, which contains items including Ceremony Ideas & Resources, Poetry, Commitment Vows and Ring Exchange Samples, and application forms for the Victorian Relationships Register.
Your ideas and requests can then be woven together to create a ceremony that you will remember forever.
My promise to you is that I will:- Listen carefully to your needs
- Provide information & help you refine your ideas
- Work with you until your ceremony is perfect
- Provide a final copy of the ceremony for your approval
- Attend to all details with professionalism and integrity
- Respect and protect your privacy rights
- Provide a rehearsal where required
- Officiate with great pleasure at your special day
