Welcoming a new member into the family and community has to be one of the most delightful and joyous occasions a celebrant can experience...
Naming ceremonies provide us with the opportunity to cement our relationships within the central family, invite other people into the life of the new addition (in the form of mentors, godparents, guardians, etc.), and the chance to formally recognise the value and input of significant people such as Grandparents.
A Naming Ceremony can include anything from traditional wording to something created just to suit you - all it requires is some ideas, some creativity, and your guidance…
My fee includes a visit to gather to gather information and provide some suggestions; creation of the ceremony; correspondence by phone and e-mail until you are totally delighted with the wording; and then finally, as your celebrant, facilitation of the ceremony itself.
Prices for a Naming Ceremony start at $350 and I am more than happy to provide a fixed quotation upon request.
