A Civil Celebrant

“For Life’s Big Moments…”

Creating Your Wedding Ceremony…
     (in six easy steps)

Looking for a warm & approachable celebrant?

Don’t want all the fuss of planning a big wedding ceremony?
Short on time or on a budget?
Are you looking for a simple and affordable ceremony? But still with choices?
Perhaps you were thinking of a registry office style wedding?
Or just wanting a few people and your witnesses to attend?

As a marriage celebrant I offer a selection of low cost relaxed ceremonies
which can be held at a location of your choice.

Here's how it works…

Step 2: Legal Documentation (NOIM)

When you are ready to proceed we complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (see Marriage Legalities page for more information) and formally book your wedding date into my celebrant diary. It is at this stage that a deposit is required.

Step 3: Choose your wedding ceremony or tell me your ideas.

Each ceremony is complete with vows and if you wish it can be used just as it is, or for those who are looking for something more flexible we can create a ceremony just for you!

Step 4: Ceremony Variations

After choosing your basic ceremony style, if you would like to personalise it, you are then invited to select alternative vows and ring exchanges. I will guide you for the legal requirements should you wish to write your own vows.

You may also wish to include some beautiful rituals such as a warming of the rings, candle ceremony, romantic time capsule (pictured above) or handfasting.  Perhaps you have your own ideas or cultural additions:  Your personal ceremony suggestions are always welcomed

Step 5: Rehearsal or Final Meeting

Should you wish, a wedding ceremony rehearsal is included in the fees, it’s an opportunity for me to help you both smooth out any nerves and provides a sense of confidence for your Wedding Day. A rehearsal is optional and some couples are happy just to meet and go over the ceremony together.

At this final meeting we will also attend to final paperwork, ready for your marriage.

Step 6: Your Wedding Day

Enjoy!  I will lead your beautiful marriage ceremony as your wedding celebrant with the greatest of pleasure and finally attend to all legal requirements as set out by the Attorney General.
