Choosing the venue for your marriage or commitment ceremony?
As your celebrant I am happy to travel and the location for your ceremony is only limited by your imagination... if you have any questions, would like to bounce some ideas, or need some assistance choosing that special venue ~ I’m always happy to chat...
To help you in your planning process, I’ve jotted down some of the things you may like to consider if you are thinking about a beach, park or home wedding…
Tide Times
Position of sun in the sky?
Accessibility for those less able?
Car parking facilities nearby?
Chairs for those unable to stand for any length of time
Table for signing the certificates/marriage register
Plus:
*Plan B in case of inclement weather i.e. any rain, scorching sun,
or high winds
*Permission must also be obtained from the local council (permit)
Is there cover in case of rain or for shade on a sunny day?
Are you able to ‘reserve’ a section of the park for your wedding?
Car parking facilities nearby?
Chairs for those unable to stand for any length of time
Table for signing the certificates/marriage register
Plus:
*Plan B in case of inclement weather i.e. heavy rain, extreme
heat, or high winds
*Permission must also be obtained from the local council (permit)
